If your item is faulty or not as described If your activity box arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please let us know as soon as possible. You are entitled to: A full refund within 30 days of receiving your order Or a repair or replacement if you contact us after 30 days If a repair or replacement isn’t possible, we’ll offer a refund or price reduction We’ll cover the cost of return postage for any faulty items. If you’ve changed your mind (online orders) If you bought your item online, you have a 14‑day cooling‑off period starting the day after your order arrives. During this time, you can: Cancel your order for any reason Return the item within a further 14 days Receive a full refund, including standard delivery costs Please note: return postage for change‑of‑mind returns is the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated. To qualify for a refund, items must be unused and in their original condition. Refund timing: Once we receive your returned item, we’ll process your refund within 14 days using your original payment method.
The Short & Sweet Version
You have 14 days after delivery to change your mind and tell us you want to return your Busy Bee Box.
You then have another 14 days to send it back.
The box must be unused, in good condition, and include all items.
You’ll get a full refund once we receive the return.
You pay return postage if you’ve simply changed your mind.
If something is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we’ll fix it or refund you and cover return postage.
Box contents can vary slightly, which is normal and not a fault.
Your legal rights under UK consumer law are always protected.
At Busy Bee Boxes, we want every delivery to create a buzz of excitement. That said, we know sometimes things don’t work out, so this policy explains your rights and our responsibilities clearly and fairly, in line with UK consumer law.
Your 14‑Day Cooling‑Off Period
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to change your mind.
You have 14 days from the day you receive your Busy Bee Box to let us know you’d like to return it.
You then have another 14 days to send the box back to us.
You do not need to give a reason for your return during this period.
Once we receive the returned item, we’ll issue your refund within 14 days using the original payment method.
Important Note on Personalisation 🐝
Each Busy Bee Box includes a label with space for a child to write their own name.
The box is not personalised by us before dispatch.
Writing a name on the label after delivery does not affect your cooling‑off rights.
Your statutory rights remain fully intact.
Condition of Returned Boxes
To receive a full refund, we kindly ask that:
The Busy Bee Box is returned unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging
All contents originally supplied are included
You may inspect the items as you would in a shop, but if the box or its contents show signs of use beyond this, we may make a deduction from your refund to reflect any loss in value.

Our Busy Bee Boxes are designed to inspire creativity and play. Each box may contain a selection of items such as:

Air‑dry clay

Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your Busy Bee Box:
Arrives damaged
Contains a faulty item
Is not what you ordered
Please contact us as soon as possible, and within 30 days of delivery. In these cases:
We will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund as appropriate
We will cover the return postage costs
This is in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Return Postage Costs
For change‑of‑mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of return postage
For faulty or incorrect items, we will cover the return costs
We recommend using a tracked service, as we can’t be responsible for items lost in transit.
